Every app re-solves the same small problems: dates, money, SEO tags, carts, emails, retries, tests. At Lacspace we solved each one once, as a small package, and published them. Today that is 224 packages and CLIs on npm: 195 libraries and 29 tools, all from one monorepo.

Why small and zero-dependency

  • One job per package. Install exactly what you use. No framework lock-in.
  • Nothing hidden underneath. Most packages have zero runtime dependencies, so there is no tree of transitive installs to audit or break.
  • Runs everywhere. The same code works on Node 18+ (20+ for Web Crypto), edge runtimes, browsers and React Native.
  • Dual build with types. Both import and require work, and TypeScript types are bundled.
  • Correct by default. Real cryptography goes through the Web Crypto API, never hand-rolled, and outputs are injection-safe.

A tour of the kits

Search all of them, with a docs page each, in the package catalog.

Try one in a minute

npm install @lacspace/cart

Or start a whole app with the packages already wired in:

npx create-lacspace-app my-app

The create-lacspace-app starter scaffolds a Next.js project with templates and add-ons, and the developer handbook has task-oriented recipes.

Free for commercial use

Every package ships under the Lacspace Free Licence 1.0, a permissive licence for personal and commercial projects. Releases are published from CI with npm provenance, so you can verify each build came from the public repository.

These are the same packages Lacspace uses to build its own products and client software. If you would rather have the team build it for you, book a free call.

Frequently asked questions

How many packages does Lacspace publish?

There are 224 packages and CLIs on npm under @lacspace and related names: 195 libraries and 29 tools. The full catalog with a docs page for each is at developer.lacspace.com/packages.

Are they really zero-dependency?

Most are. Packages such as @lacspace/seo, @lacspace/ai, @lacspace/components and @lacspace/cart install with no runtime dependencies at all. The few that wrap other Lacspace packages, like the @lacspace/sdk client, say so in their package file.

Can I use them in commercial projects?

Yes. Every package ships under the Lacspace Free Licence 1.0, a permissive licence for personal and commercial work. Read it at developer.lacspace.com/licenses/lacspace-free-1.0.

Do they work in the browser and on the edge?

Yes. The packages are isomorphic: the same code runs on Node 18+ (20+ for the Web Crypto ones), edge runtimes, browsers and React Native, and each ships both ESM and CommonJS with TypeScript types included.

How do I start a new app with them?

Run npx create-lacspace-app. It scaffolds a Next.js app with templates and add-ons already wired to the packages.
