Most in-app shops exist to turn attention into money. StockYatra’s exists to turn good habits into something you can wear. The Yatra Bazaar — the shop inside the StockYatra web terminal — sells cosmetics only, prices them in coins only, and accepts only the coins you earned in the simulator. The app’s own description is blunt about it: “Coins are practice money: nothing here costs real money.”

Every item carries a rarity — common, rare, epic, legendary or mythic — and a coin price. The catalogue can be filtered by type and rarity, sorted by price, and narrowed to “owned”. A Deal of the day discounts one item; some items are limited editions that show how many are left and can sell out; some are league-locked (“Reach Tiger League to unlock”), which ties the rarest looks to the leaderboard rather than to spending.
Earned coins only
This is the rule that makes the Bazaar different, and the terminal enforces it in the interface. Your wallet shows two numbers: total coins, and earned coins — your balance minus everything you ever topped up. Only the second number can be spent in the Bazaar. Try to buy something with topped-up coins and the app tells you plainly: “Bazaar items use coins you’ve earned in the app — topped-up coins are for trading.”
So the path to a mythic frame runs through the simulator: profitable trades, finished courses and passed quizzes, referrals, the daily call. Every item card shows a progress bar of your earned coins toward its price, and when you cannot afford something the message is “earn more by trading, learning and winning the daily call” — never “buy more”.
Equip, try on, gift, showcase
- Try on. A “Your look” preview on the Bazaar page updates as you tap items, so you can see a frame, title, banner, bubble and name colour together before spending anything.
- Equip. One tap and the item is worn everywhere — leaderboard, chat, profile, friends list. Tap again to unequip. Every item is yours forever once bought.
- Gift. Any item can be gifted to a friend. They keep it forever and get a notification; if they already own it, the Bazaar says so and nothing is charged. It is a small, real way to reward the study partner who kept you honest about your stop-losses.
- Showcase. Your public profile has a trophy shelf with a few pinned slots. Your first trophy lands there automatically; pin, unpin and reorder as you collect.
Where cosmetics show up
Because the community layer and the Bazaar share the same account, a look you buy on the web is seen in the app: on the leaderboard next to your league, in Global chat and direct messages as your bubble and name colour, in the Yatra Users directory, and on the public profile that opens from your Trader Card. A Session Topper flame and a verified tick sit alongside — those cannot be bought at any price; they are earned by trading and verifying.
The Bazaar lives at trade.stockyatra.com/bazaar. There is no premium tier, no subscription and no feature behind real money. Trading never costs a coin; coins can be earned by trading well, finishing courses, referring friends and winning the daily call; an optional top-up (Rs.100 = 1,000 coins) exists on the web but is never required.
