A practice score tells you how ready you are only if it is honest. On 18 October 2026 iSmartExams changed how exams run so that a score reflects a real attempt, which also makes its certificates meaningful.

What changed

ChangeWhy it matters
Scoring happens only on the serverNobody can change a score by editing the app or the network traffic.
Answer keys appear only after you submitYou cannot peek at answers mid-exam, even by accident.
Options are shuffled every attemptYou learn the answer, not that “it was option B last time”.
Resume with your remaining timeA dropped connection or a closed app no longer costs you the attempt.

What you see during an exam

A countdown timer, a question map showing answered and remaining questions, and one tap to choose an answer. You can jump around the map like a real paper. When you submit, the server marks the attempt.

What you see after

Exam result with accuracy, rank and speed
Accuracy, rank, speed and a suggested next step.

Your result shows accuracy, rank and speed, then suggests a next step: another set at the same level, a lesson on your weakest area, or the next level up. Wrong answers go to the Mistakes page in the learner portal for spaced review. Pass on time and a verified certificate is issued automatically.

Built for real conditions

Many learners in Nepal practise on mobile data. Resume means a power cut or a weak signal pauses your attempt instead of ending it, and the app shows an offline banner so you know when you are disconnected.

Frequently asked questions

Can I see the answers during an exam?

No. Answer keys are shown only after you submit.

What happens if my internet drops mid-exam?

You can resume the attempt later with the time you had left.

Why are the options in a different order each time?

Options are shuffled every attempt so you learn the answer rather than its position.

Where is my score calculated?

On the iSmartExams server, never on the device, so results and certificates are trustworthy.
