Most salons are good at the work and quiet about it. New customers search, find a phone number, call during a busy hour, get no answer, and book somewhere else. Saloonly exists to close that gap: a place where people nearby can find your salon, see your real prices, and book a time you are actually free, at any hour, without ringing you.
This guide covers what a salon owner needs to know before joining. SaloonERP has its own Saloonly page for salons and an introduction to Saloonly, both worth a read too.
What your customers see
- Your salon on a map or list, under the kind of place you are: hair, beauty, barber, spa, nails and so on.
- A salon page with your services and prices, opening hours, team and location.
- Times that are really free, worked out from your hours, your team and the bookings you already have. No double-booking.
- Booking with a name and a mobile number. They pay you at the salon, the way you already take payment.
What you see
Nothing new to learn, and that is the point. Your listing is drawn from what you already keep in SaloonERP: services, prices, team and hours. Change a price or switch a service off, and the listing follows. There is no second menu to keep up to date.
A booking made on Saloonly arrives in your diary next to phone bookings and walk-ins, marked as coming from Saloonly. Your team checks the customer in and finishes the visit exactly as they would any other.

Everyone who books through Saloonly also becomes a customer record in your salon, with their visits and orders, just like a customer who booked over the phone.
Sell your shelf, too
You can switch products to "sell online". Customers order from your salon, you mark the order ready, and they collect and pay at the counter.
Getting listed

- Register your salon on saloonly.shop/for-salons. It takes about five minutes.
- Add your services, prices, stylists and opening hours, or use what you already keep in SaloonERP.
- Switch on online booking. Your page goes live on Saloonly.
How the money works
Being listed on Saloonly is free, with no subscription and nothing up front. When Saloonly brings you a customer, there is a commission on that booking. There is no single fixed rate, because a single-chair studio and a chain of branches are not the same business. The rate is agreed with each salon.
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Listing on Saloonly | Free, with no subscription and nothing up front |
| What the commission applies to | Bookings that are completed and product orders that are collected, and only ones Saloonly brings you |
| No-shows and cancellations | Cost you nothing |
| Your regulars | Walk-ins and phone bookings stay yours, with no commission |
| The rate | Agreed with each salon to suit its size, prices and way of working |
| Seeing what you owe | A monthly statement, with each booking and order listed under Earnings |
Light or the full SaloonERP?
Saloonly works with both, and both use the same account and the same data:
- SaloonERP Light is a bookings-first portal. It has your diary, walk-ins and phone bookings, services, team, customers, products, Saloonly orders, multiple branches with a sign-in for each branch, earnings, and editing your listing. It suits a salon that mainly wants to be found and booked.
- The full SaloonERP adds the back office: billing and split payments, the cash drawer, stock, memberships and gift cards, staff commission and reports.
You can start with Light and switch more on later, because it is the same account. Saloonly and SaloonERP: one record, two front doors explains how the two fit together.

Which salons you can book depends on who has joined near you. Features and details can change.
