Most booking marketplaces keep their own copy of a salon: a separate menu, separate prices, a separate calendar. Someone at the salon has to keep that copy in sync with reality, and when they forget, customers book services that no longer exist or times the salon cannot serve.
Saloonly was built the other way round. It is a marketplace from SaloonERP, and it does not keep a second copy of anything. The listing is drawn from what the salon already keeps in SaloonERP, and bookings go straight back into the salon's diary.

The listing comes from the salon's own records
A salon's page on Saloonly shows its services and prices, opening hours, team and location. All of that comes from SaloonERP. When the salon changes a price or switches a service off, the listing follows. There is nothing extra for the salon to update.
Free times come from the real diary
The times a customer sees are worked out from the salon's opening hours, its stylists and the bookings it already has, including phone bookings and walk-ins taken at the desk. That is why Saloonly can promise times that are really free, and why a salon on Saloonly is not double-booked.

Bookings land where the team already works
When a customer books on Saloonly, the booking appears in the salon's normal diary, next to the phone bookings and walk-ins, marked as coming from Saloonly. The customer becomes a customer record in the salon, with their visits and orders. Product orders arrive the same way: the salon marks them ready, and the customer collects and pays at the counter.
For the salon team, a Saloonly booking is checked in and finished like any other. As SaloonERP puts it, a booking taken online is exactly as trustworthy as one taken at the desk.
Two ways to run it: Light or the full SaloonERP
| SaloonERP Light | Full SaloonERP | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | A bookings-first portal | The complete salon back office |
| Saloonly listing and bookings | Yes | Yes |
| Diary, walk-ins, phone bookings | Yes | Yes |
| Services, team, customers, products | Yes | Yes |
| Saloonly orders and earnings | Yes | Yes |
| Multiple branches | Yes, with a sign-in per branch | Yes, with consolidated reporting |
| Billing, cash drawer, stock, memberships, staff commission, reports | No | Yes |
Both use the same account and the same data, so a salon can start with SaloonERP Light to be found and booked, and switch on the rest of SaloonERP when it wants billing, staff, stock and reports too.
What this means for customers
- Prices you see are the salon's current prices.
- The times you see are times the salon can really serve.
- Your booking is in the salon's diary the moment you confirm, not in an inbox waiting to be copied across.
What this means for salons
- No second menu to maintain.
- No double-booking between online and walk-in customers.
- Every Saloonly booking and order is listed under Earnings, with a monthly statement.

Frequently asked questions
Does Saloonly keep its own copy of a salon’s menu?
No. A salon’s services, prices, team and hours on Saloonly are drawn from what the salon keeps in SaloonERP. When the salon changes something, the listing follows.
How does Saloonly avoid double-booking?
Free times are worked out from the salon’s real diary, including phone bookings and walk-ins, its opening hours and its stylists. Bookings made on Saloonly go into that same diary.
What is SaloonERP Light?
SaloonERP Light is a bookings-first portal: diary, walk-ins and phone bookings, services, team, customers, products, Saloonly orders, branches and earnings. It uses the same account and data as the full SaloonERP.
Can a salon move from Light to the full SaloonERP later?
Yes. They are the same account, so a salon can start with Light and switch on billing, staff, stock and reports when it needs them.
